On January 23. and 24., 2017 a SESAME Net Project meeting will take place at headquarters of project coordinator Arctur in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
Day one will be devoted to the work progress review along all Work packages. On the second day, special attention will be brought to one of most important deliverables of the project, HPC4SME Assessment Tool. HPC4SME Assessment Tool is a web-based instrument that offers SMEs the opportunity to self-assess their “HPC-readiness” and discover if and how they can benefit from supercomputing services. At the same time, the HPC4SME Assessment Tool can help HPC centres to identify SMEs with the potential of benefiting from HPC related technologies, and engage them in the next steps for the uptake of the technology.
The workshop for HPC4SME Assessment Tool is scheduled for the second day of the meeting between 9:30 am and 13:00 am. SMEs have been invited to participate to the workshop and take part in live demonstration of the assessment process.
More SMEs from different countries are cordially invited to participate and to share their experiences with us. Free places are still available!
